BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., April 6, 2020 (Newswire.com) – Dr. Anthony Mobasser, the Celebrity Dentist, released tips that he feels can help to increase the odds that a person will not get COVID-19. A winner of the Caelus award (for highest clinical proficiency) Dr. Mobasser has a DMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania as well as a BS degree from UCLA in biochemistry.

Dr. Mobasser states that people should seek to take more Vitamin C as well as elevate the zinc levels in their system. Rinsing with 1% hydrogen peroxide and a betadine solution can also help to protect a person’s health as well as their smile.

Vitamin D boosts the immune system, so getting out in the sun can help as well as eating salmon, tuna, cheese, egg yolks, soy milk, and others. Foods such as artichokes, raspberries, kale, blueberries, strawberries, and many leafy green vegetables are high in health-boosting antioxidants. Dr. Mobasser also highly recommends washing hands with warm to hot water and soap for at least 20 to 30 seconds, cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, as well as getting adequate sleep and exercise while abstaining from smoking.

“It’s natural to be scared of getting a virus like COVID-19, but it’s important to take steps to decrease the chances you’ll get it. Obviously, that includes social distancing. But, you can also help yourself by eating alkaline foods as much as possible, such as lemons, limes, avocadoes, garlic, oranges, and others. I believe this virus mutates and grows using glucose, so avoid sugary foods if you can. In fact, if you can try not to eat (fasting) for longer periods of time, that can break down fat, which could limit the virus’s growth. These are difficult times, which makes it all that more critical that we do all we can to live healthier: for ourselves as well as those around us,” said Dr. Anthony Mobasser, the Celebrity Dentist.

As of this writing, Dr. Mobasser’s cosmetic dentistry in Los Angeles, out of COVID-19 concern, is seeing patients only on an emergency basis, and having consultations over the phone.
